Senior Software Engineer (Scala) - Remote
Salary: Up to £140k (+ Generous Stock Options)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scala Developer to join a brilliant team that is a part of one of the fastest growing companies on the mobile-only market. As a Senior Developer on the team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a greenfield product within companies $1B+ travel ecosystem. You'll work alongside a talented and experienced team of developers, designers, and travel industry experts.
What to expect:
You will build and shape backend tools
You will be responsible for the integration of systems
You will monitor and maintain these systems
You will be enhancing the accuracy of the system through data analysis
You will create microservices and customer facing tools
You will work in collaboration with different departments
What we are looking for:
Experience in full stack or backend engineering
Proficient in working with functional languages, such as Scala (3+ years)
Experience working with RESTful API's
Someone with metrics and reports creation experience
A knowledge of disturbed systems and how decisions can affect performance
Experience writing testable code
